From Wikipedia -Sister Parish was an American interior decorator and socialite. She was the first practitioner brought in to decorate the Kennedy White House. Parish is widely considered to have originated what became known as American country style. She avoided matching, filling homes with contrasting printsand sometimes intentionally placed items off center. She created this original print design and we created a rolled pleat shade perfect for the "American Country" - use it on a living room lamp or a bedside lamp. We made it in a few proportions as well. Call for availability. This shade measures 9in top , 16in bottom, 12' slant with a brass washer spider. Hand made self trim is accented by a chestnut brown cord and used to finish the top and bottom.
