Webster's says a "demijohn" is a vessel that holds at least 3 gallons of water, a "carboy" is a vessel that holds less than a demijohn, usually a bit over 1 gallon.  So, what we have here is a carboy jug lamp by illume.  The surface is etched and the color is salmon.  We drilled the bottom.  Yes we drill glass.
