I found this old elephant in an antique store covered in old gray (not the good kind of gray) paint. After chipping away the old paint I found there was an "armature" semi exposed in certain areas. I stripped the old paint away by hand and discovered that it's a bird house (for a very small bird - note the hole) The rear lid was glued and painted shut. Well today he has a fresh coat of paint and I think would look great in a garden room or kids room. Maybe we all need to pay attention to the elephant in the room? 18" long 7.5" wide and 8" tall. He's handsome.
