Measuring 17” tall this circa-1900. carved wood Artist’s Model is marked in ink on the back of the leg “BPI Art Dept” which may be for Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. All the joints on this articulated Mannequin move, the body swivels at the waist as does the hand carved head. This model has carved facial features, fingers and toes. Every piece is pegged together and every joint moves at designed.
