Mechanical Hotel Front Desk Bell

Offered here is an early 20th century desk bell. It has a wind up mechanical movement by turning the top button. I light touch to the top and a wonderful bell rings rapidly to alert the "soups on" or you're needed by sick child. It has a wonderful beaded edge and the silverplate retains a wonderful patina. A pretty scarce item. The top unscrews easily and rings best when not fully tightened. I've show the inner workings for your examination. If you'd like more pictures, please call.
